This Privacy Policy explains how Tati's Cafe ("Tati's Cafe," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you join our list — in store, online, or by scanning one of our sign-up codes.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our "Join the list" sign-up, we collect your first name, email address, and (if you provide it) your mobile phone number, along with your communication preferences — whether you opted in to email updates and/or promotional text messages.
Consent records
To keep an accurate record of your sign-up, we store the date and time you gave consent and the consent language shown to you at that time.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form we may record limited technical information, such as your IP address and basic browser/device details, for security and to help document your consent.
2. How we use your information
- To send you the communications you opted into — email updates, and text messages if you opted in.
- To manage your preferences and respond to your requests.
- To operate, secure, and improve our communications and offerings.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional text messages (e.g. offers & specials) from Tati's Cafe at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How we share information
We share your information only as needed to run our communications:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us operate our list and send messages — including our CRM and messaging platform, GoHighLevel — process your information on our behalf and are bound to use it only to provide services to us.
- Legal & safety. When required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights and safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed and as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. You can opt out or ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
6. Your choices & rights
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any email we send.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email us and we'll help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.
7. Children's privacy
Our sign-up is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective" date above.
